Interchangeable Circular Needle Case
A tool holder for the interchangeable circular needles and accessories
Following on from the Crochet Hook Tool Roll, this case contains pockets for the tips of interchangeable circular needles and a large zippered pocket along the edge for the cables, stoppers, joiners, turners, etc.
The piece folds in half rather than rolls, closing with press stud fastenings.
The needle pockets are sized to accommodate the range of sizes of needles. If they were all the same size, the smaller needles would be too loose and/or the thicker needles would be too tight. The needle pockets and the hight of the piece are also sized to fit crochet hooks. Allowing both knitting and crochet to be stored/carried together.
The zippered pocket extends only half-way along the piece, stopping at the fold. This is to allow larger pieces to be added without the potential for them to interfere with any bending, which a full length pocket or when rolling would do. It is however still deep enough to store standard length double pointed needles (for when you really need those over circular).
